Open Agreement for Regular Cleaning Service  

Allowing trades people access to your home and your private life over an extended period of time, is a very serious decision.

We believe that it is important that the terms of service be clearly written out for the benefit of all - you, the client, our employees and the company.

Our agreement with you is open on your end - you can suspend or cancel without penalty.  We, however guarantee your hourly rate for up to 52 weeks from the date of the agreement.

Here are the details:

1. The Schedule.    Windsor agrees to provide scheduled cleaning services on the basis of:

  ____ session(s) per every _____ week(s)   

for  _____  hours per session, for a term of _____weeks.

2.  Payment Options.  Windsor agrees to offer cleaning, at   $_____._____  per person hour, based on the current rate. The Customer agrees to pay for the service with monthly Payments in  ______ equal installments of   $________._____   each, in advance of the service, plus applicable taxes.

Payments can be made by:

  • Pre-authorized Cheques  - 2% Discount

  • Post-dated Cheques     -    2% Discount

    

This gives you great flexibility to dial in extra hours or sessions. If you suspend cleaning, your unused credit is still there when you resume.

Commercial and institutional customers may apply for a credit account. Credit accounts are billed every 2 weeks and are subject to an 8% surcharge on the published rates.

3.  Price Stability Policy.  Regular customers enjoy a protected hourly rate that is guaranteed until the service agreement is completed at the end of the chosen term.

4. Suspension of Service.   Customers may suspend the service at any time, for any reason. An advance notice of 2 business days must be given, or the customer could be charged for the next cleaning session. Windsor  will hold the same spot with the same cleaner for up to six continuous weeks.

5. Renewal of Service .   This Agreement renews automatically upon the expiry of the agreed upon term. Renewing customers pay the prevailing rates, at time of renewal.

6. Adjustment of Accounts.   At the end of the term, Windsor shall produce a statement of account, listing all debit and credits. If a debit balance exists, the customer agrees to pay the debit before proceeding to a new agreement for service. If a credit balance exists, Windsor shall apply the credit to the payments due on the new agreement.

7. Break times For Cleaners.  As per labour regulations, the cleaner is entitled to a 4 minute break for each hour of work in your home. The break times are included in the total time billed each session.

8. Lock Out Charge.  If the cleaner arrives within 30 minutes of the agreed upon start time and cannot gain entry due to an action of an occupant, Windsor shall charge the customer 50% of the scheduled cleaning session.

9.  Cancellation of Service.   Either Windsor or the Customer may cancel this agreement at any time with two week’s notice.  The balance of the account shall be determined by calculating the actual hours of cleaning consumed times the hourly rate, less payments to date.  A debit balance shall be paid by the Customer; a credit balance shall be refunded by Windsor. action.

10. Independent Hiring.   Whereas it is acknowledged that Windsor invests considerable time, energy, skill and revenue into the recruitment, training, management, motivation, and compensation of its employees, the Customer agrees not to hire or attempt to hire a present or former employee of Windsor Home Cleaning, for any purpose whatsoever, for the term of this agreement and for a further period of one year after the termination of said agreement, without the express written permission of Windsor.  Should it be determined that the Customer has failed to adhere to this condition, it is agreed that Windsor shall be entitled to compensation from the Customer for losses arising from such actions.

    GUARANTEE  OF  QUALITY

Windsor Home Cleaning unconditionally guarantees the QUALITY of work performed and will redo ANY work in question by the customer as to QUALITY. 

 

We reserve the right to inspect the work in question within 24 hours.  Assuming that proper supplies and instructions were provided, the work will be redone, at no additional cost.

      It is important to note that the quantity of work is not guaranteed.  Over the years we have learned  that within any given session, the time it may take to do the work requested can vary, as can the requests from the customer. This is, in part, the reason the company recommends the use of a job description to instruct the cleaners regarding high priority areas of the home, to ensure the customers top priorities are completed each session.  In addition this allows customers to change the work requested for any session.
